By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

These terms cover only the website. Our projects and services are governed by separate written agreements.

The website is meant for businesses, and for people acting for a business.

03What the website is for

The website explains our services, how we work and the kinds of projects we do, and lets you contact us. Its content is general information. It is not professional, legal, tax or financial advice.

We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but it may contain errors or become out of date. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time without notice.

04Our services and project agreements

We design, build, host and maintain custom business systems and AI agents for businesses in Malaysia. Each system is designed and built for the client’s business.

We host the systems we build end to end, under our own cloud accounts, using a global cloud provider for hosting, security and storage. The first 3 months of hosting and care are included in the project price. After that, care is optional and billed yearly.

Once a project is paid in full, the client owns the source code and data of the system we built for it, and receives a full handover if it leaves.

AI usage runs through BELYARD, our AI gateway, and is paid from a usage account that the client tops up.

Systems can connect to third-party products through their APIs, such as accounting software, MyInvois, marketplaces, payment gateways, WhatsApp Business Platform, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.

The scope, price, payment terms, timeline, acceptance, confidentiality, ownership, hosting, care, AI usage and handover for each project are set in its written quotation or agreement. Where the website summarises any of these, the written quotation or agreement prevails if it differs.

05Use case pages

Our use case pages describe real projects. To protect our clients’ confidentiality, we change names, people, places, figures and other details so that no client can be identified. The screens shown are recreations of the systems, not live client systems, and contain no real client data.

These changes do not make the work, its features or its results look better than they were. Each project depended on its own scope and circumstances. A similar project for you may differ in features, price, timeline and results.

06Prices, estimates and timelines

Prices on this website, such as “From RM 5k”, “From RM 15k” and “From RM 50k”, are starting prices for guidance only. The same applies to any estimate the website shows you. They are not an offer and cannot be accepted to form a contract. The examples on this website show which features a project can include. The price of each feature is set only in your written quotation.

The price of your project depends on its scope, and is fixed only in a written quotation or agreement from Belcort. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in Malaysian ringgit and exclude Service Tax and any other taxes, which are added where they apply. Payment terms and accepted payment methods are set out in each quotation.

Timelines on the website are typical estimates. The timeline for your project is set in your quotation or agreement.

07How a project contract is made

A contract for our services is made only when you accept a written quotation from us, or when you and we sign a written agreement. Either may be done electronically, for example by email or electronic signature.

Sending the consultation form, messaging or emailing us, or booking a consultation does not create a contract for services, and does not oblige you or us to go ahead with a project.

08Free consultation

Our consultations are free, and you are under no obligation to buy anything. We hold them on WhatsApp calls or Google Meet.

A consultation is a conversation to understand your needs and explain your options. Anything we suggest during it is general guidance, not professional, legal, tax or financial advice. It is not a commitment until it is set out in a written quotation or agreement.

Please do not share trade secrets or highly confidential information before we agree confidentiality terms. We use what you tell us only as described in our Privacy Notice.

09No guarantee of results

We work to deliver what we agree with you. Results such as time saved, sales or growth depend on many things outside our control, including your data, processes and people, third-party products, and how the system is used.

Nothing on this website is a promise of any particular result. A commitment about results is made only if it is set out in a written agreement.

10Intellectual property

Belcort owns, or has permission to use, the website and its content, including its text, designs, graphics, screen recreations, videos and code, and the Belcort and BELYARD names and logos. They are protected by the Copyright Act 1987, the Trademarks Act 2019 and other laws.

You may view the website, and print or save pages for your own reference or to assess our services within your organisation. You may not otherwise copy, change, publish or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission. These terms do not transfer any rights in our content to you.

Ownership of the work we create for a client is set out in that client’s agreement.

11Third-party trademarks

We name, and may show the logos of, third-party products such as accounting software, MyInvois, marketplaces, payment gateways, WhatsApp, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. We do this only to describe the products our work can connect to, using words such as “works with”, “connects to” or “integrates with”.

These names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. Google Workspace and Google Meet are trademarks of Google LLC. Microsoft and Microsoft 365 are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC.

Naming or showing a product does not mean that its owner is affiliated with Belcort, sponsors or endorses Belcort or our services, or has appointed Belcort as a partner, reseller or certified provider.

A connection to a third-party product depends on that product and its API, which its owner may change or withdraw. The owner’s own terms apply to your use of that product.

12Links to other websites and services

The website links to third-party websites and services, such as WhatsApp and Google Meet. We do not control them, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

13Acceptable use

You must use the website lawfully and must not:

• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or databases, or test their security without our written permission;
• introduce viruses or other harmful code;
• overload or interfere with the website, or try to get around the bot check;
• send spam, false enquiries, or content that is unlawful, grossly offensive or infringes anyone’s rights;
• copy, scrape or collect content or data from the website by automated means, or use its content to train AI models, without our written permission;
• pretend to be another person or business.

We may block access to the website, or to the consultation form, to protect the website or other users.

14Limitation of liability

We provide the website free of charge, for general information, and “as is”. To the extent Malaysian law allows:

• we do not promise that the website or its content will be accurate, complete, always available, or free of errors or viruses;
• we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website, or from your reliance on its content;
• we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Malaysian law.

Our liability for a project or service is governed only by the written agreement for it.

15Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal data that we collect through the website and when you contact us. It is published in English and Bahasa Melayu.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will publish the new version on this page with a new version date. The version on this page when you use the website applies to that use.

17Governing law and courts

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the website, are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You and we agree that the courts of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur have exclusive jurisdiction.

18General

If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.

These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the website. They do not apply to our projects and services, which have their own written agreements.

If we publish these terms in another language and the versions differ, the English version prevails.
